Over 3,500 Years Old
With a total perimeter of 13 (!) Meters at a height of 4.6 meters, the impressive olive tree stands proudly over the centuries and is one of the most characteristic points of interest of the beautiful village of Sami.
Compared to the corresponding olive trees in Crete, according to residents, the age is estimated to be over 3,500 years.
